New car sales dropping drastically in Switzerland and EU
For the first time in years, the Volkswagen Golf lost its title as “best-selling car in Switzerland” as WRS reported last month. The Subaru XV, a sport-utility vehicle, took the lead for the month of August. Now September sales results show that the Golf has again been dominated, this time by Czech car maker Skoda. The good news for Volkswagon that Skoda is owned by the German car giant. However, the bad news is that new car sales figures for Europe are declining significantly, including in Switzerland.
