New anti-doping rule targets attempted drug use in sport
For the first time, the Swiss Olympic organization has fined and suspended a cyclist and a skier for possession and intended use of a doping substance after tracking the two athletes online. Cyclist Roger Nachbur was suspended for two years and fined 22,000 francs. Skier Reto Eigenmann was suspended for two years as well and fined 1,700 francs.
