More people now have dogs than children under seven years old
There are now more pet dogs in Switzerland than children under the age of seven, according to a recent study published in the Tagesanzeiger newspaper that compiled figures from several different federal agencies. WRS’s Alex Helmick asks Dennis Turner, founder of the Institute for Applied Ethology and Animal Psychology in Zurich, why the number of dogs has skyrocketed:
