Michele Bachmann cites family reasons for claiming Swiss citizenship
Representative Michele Bachmann, an icon of the Tea Party movement in the United States, has suddenly become a Swiss citizen. Bachmann is also a presidential candidate but has suspended her campaign to become the Republican nominee. Her spokesperson confirmed the move because her husband Marcus Bachmann has Swiss citizenship as a dual national. WRS’s Pete Forster asks Washington correspondent Daniel Ryntjes why now:
