Man's best friend as therapist
The St. Bernard dogs of the famous hospice that bears their name up in the Alps are switching jobs. From stalwart saviours of the hapless mountaineer, they’ve become urban therapists. Sometimes they’re in elderly care homes and at other times in juvenile detention centers. But their latest mission focused on six German kids with behavioral difficulties. The trick is all in teaching tricks as WRS’s Lucas Chambers explains:
