First Swiss helicopter takes shape
Imagine you’ve been flying helicopters for about 20 years and suddenly decide you’re not happy with the design. So what do you do about it? If you’re Martin Stucki from Pfäffikon near Zurich, you decide to build your own. He’s now Chief Executive of Marenco Swisshelicopter. A prototype of the machine is just months away and when they go on sale for about three million francs in 2015, they’ll be the first helicopters ever manufactured in Switzerland. WRS’s Vincent Landon met Martin Stucki and began by asking him how it all began:
