Law on 'Swissness' up for debate
Producers of everything from yogurt to chocolate to watches like to put a Swiss flag on their labels. But the law regulating just what can be called Swiss is up for debate in the Council of States today. Watchmakers say it’s important to protect their brands but some quintessentially Swiss products like Toblerone or Ricola could find themselves being declared un-Swiss. WRS’s Jordan Davis has been looking into it:
