Bernal: 'I didn't want to be an actor because my parents were actors'
We’re back at the Locarno Film Festival and yesterday’s major event was the appearance of Mexican actor and director Gael Garcia Bernal— perhaps best known for his portrayal of Che Guevara in the film The Motorcycle Diaries. WRS’s Alex Helmick talks to arts contributor Marc Menichini who is in Locarno He caught up with Bernal, who received an Excellent Award and presented the new film he stars in, it’s called NO, directed by the Chilean director Pablo Larrain.
