How Michele Bachmann became a Swiss citizen
There have been plenty of questions today following reports in the U.S. media about controversial republican politician Michele Bachmann acquiring Swiss nationality. Norbert Bärlocher, from the Swiss Consulate in Washington, explains to WRS’s Pete Forster how she was able to acquire Swiss citizenship without being a resident of Switzerland:
