Hiking hazards include angry cows
Hiking is one of the most popular summertime activities in Switzerland. There are hiking hazards people prepare for—sunburns, getting lost, bee stings. Here’s one you might not think of. Cow attacks. This past month hikers in separate incidents in the cantons of Valais and Solothurn had to be rescued after running afoul of angry cows. How does a walk in a pasture go wrong?
