Battle lines drawn over Graubünden Olympic bid

 

Battle lines are hardening in the canton of Graubünden over a possible bid by the alpine resorts of Davos and St Moritz to host the 2022 Winter Olympics. Opponents say the Olympic dream is a nightmare on cost and environmental grounds. All hinges on three key votes early next year. Voters across the canton as well as the two resorts will have their say to determine whether the bid should go ahead. WRS’s Vincent Landon hears the arguments on both sides:
