Glencore accused of risky dealings in DR Congo
Swiss commodities giant Glencore has been accused of obscure and risky dealings in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Global Witness, an NGO that deals with natural resource-related corruption, claims that Glencore has been involved in selling key assets at under market value to shelf companies that may belong in part to corrupt Congolese officials or their proxies.
