Geneva prosecutors investigate client phone data selling network
According to public broadcaster RTS, at least three employees from Swisscom, Orange and Sunrise have been charged with selling confidential customer phone data to third parties for payment amounting to hundreds of thousands of francs. Orange Switzerland fired one of its employees for selling on confidential client phone data and says it has opened an internal investigation, while Sunrise has suspended one of its staffers and Swisscom is not commenting at this time.
