Geneva gallery shows Assad's election propaganda
His name is all over the headlines yet we don’t see much of him. Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s public appearances are rare. He’s mostly only seen in news reports conducting official business. But a Geneva-based art gallery is presenting the work of Swiss photographer Nicolas Righetti who back in 2007 went to photograph Bashar al-Assad’s election campaign propaganda. The exhibition runs until September 4 at the Swiss Infographics Gallery in Geneva.
