'Fertility tourism' is inbound for Ticino
The rules governing reproductive medicine in Switzerland are tougher than in many other countries. Among other things, they include a ban on egg donation and pre-implantation genetic diagnosis. But in neighbouring Italy, the laws are even more restrictive. That’s led many Italian couples to come to Italian-speaking Ticino for what is popularly called “fertility tourism”. WRS’s Vincent Landon visits a fertility clinic there to find out more.
