Fairness debate: Tiny cantons giving big tax breaks
Fairer taxes. Who could be against that? Well it depends on who’s calling for them and what they mean.The Social Democrats are putting forward an initiative for equitable tax. They say it will ensure normal people don’t end up holding the bag for wealthy people in search of lower taxes in tiny cantons. The right and the government say it could end up raising taxes on all of us.
