EU pressures Switzerland to conform to new data protection rules
As the European Commission looks into tough new laws on online privacy, the European Union wants Switzerland to conform to new data protection rules and get rid of its present outdated version. WRS’s Alex Helmick talks to Stephane Koch, an expert specializing in Internet security and online reputation, who says that Switzerland will have to comply if they ever want to influence huge sites, like Facebook, on how they control personal data:
