Cycling union backs Lance Armstrong against doping agency
Cycling legend Lance Armstrong says he will not continue to fight allegations of doping, that he is tired of the constant attacks. The allegations have pitted the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), who wants to punish Armstrong, against the Swiss-based International Cycling Union (UCI) who stands beside him. WRS’s Alex Helmick discusses with Martin Born, cycling journalist from the Tages-Anzeiger newspaper, what stripping Armstrong of his Tour de France titles would do to the sport:
