Civil law evens up rights for both parents
Should both parents get joint say in the lives of their children when they separate or divorce? Up until now only 40 percent of parents who split up have an equal say. But the law is about to change. On Wednesday, the National Council decided that in the future, both parents will have to agree when taking decisions for their kids—whether they are married, divorced, separated or unmarried. To look into what this means, WRS’s Dave Goodman talks to MP Alec von Graffenried from the Green Party. He is a supporter of the motion:
