Could more Greek companies make the move to Switzerland?
Coca-Cola Helenic, Greece’s largest company, announced the move a couple days ago. The firm’s headquarters will move to Switzerland, and its shares will be listed in London. The company has long complained about Greek taxes, but with more financial pain expected for the EU nation in coming years,, having a Greek country code may not be conducive to raising funds. WRS’s Alex Helmick asks Dr. Spyros Arvanitis, head of innovation economics at the ETH Zurich’s KOF Swiss Economic Institute, if he thinks other Greek companies will follow suit:
