Controversy sparked over new Down syndrome test
Testing for Down syndrome will soon get a lot safer in Switzerland. Up to now, pregnant mothers have had to have their amniotic fluid sampled, which is more intrusive and can trigger a miscarriage. A new test, though, that requires just a blood sample, is about to hit the market. But some worry about the cost to the health care system. Others fear we might be pushing parents to tailor-make babies. WRS’s Lucas Chambers reports:

why do I never see disable kids in switzerland. In Canada you would see people in wheelchairs at the mall. Here I never see one non-ablebody person. My son has “no” one in his school who has “any” form of a disability. Do they hid these people?
