Controversial asylum centre planned for Zurich wasteland
Zurich could soon be home to a new processing centre for asylum seekers. The plan is to build a container village on a patch of wasteland in the west of the city that will house up to 500 people. The plan was announced Friday by the city council and the Federal Migration Office. WRS’s Vincent Landon has the story:

This wasteland should be developed for the benefit of the local Swiss. It will soon be discovered, that these asylum seekers will leach the finances / resources of the country, as has been the case in other countries. It will cost a fortune, and only encourage more of them. This project is not a win for Switzerland.
