Caritas aids Syrian refugees in Beirut amid difficult conditions
As fighting continues to rage in Syria, the UN refugee agency—or UNHCR—says the flow of people fleeing the conflict has soared in the past few weeks. Aid agencies say living conditions for refugees in neighbouring countries are deteriorating rapidly. Swiss NGO Caritas is providing emergency relief for Syrian refugees who’ve arrived in Lebanon. WRS’s Dave Goodman talks to Caroline Nanzer, Caritas’s delegate in Lebanon:
