British gun lovers use Swiss firing ranges for shooting holidays
Media reports have emerged about a British company that provides access for tourists to use Swiss shooting ranges to fire machine guns in a secret military facility. Civilians, alongside police and military professionals, can shoot the guns at a special forces camp outside Lugano. WRS’s Alex Helmick speaks to Alexandre Vautravers, head of international relations at Webster University and editor-in-chief of the Swiss Military Review magazine, about this unusual form of tourism:
