Bilateral relations standing still as Burkhalter heads to Brussels
The political worlds of Brussels and Bern will collide later as President Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf and foreign minister Didier Burkhalter meet with EU leaders in the Belgian capital. In many ways it’s their European début. Bilateral relations are currently at a standstill but few are expecting this visit to change that. WRS’s Jordan Davis reports:
