ILO report claims austerity measures hurting chances of job market recovery
Austerity measures and cuts in spending by governments hurt job creation as many countries are headed for a further recession, according to a report from the International Labor Organization (ILO), which is based in Geneva. Host Alex Helmick talks to one of the authors of the ILO’s World of Work 2012 report, Steven Tobin, a senior economist at the International Institute for Labour Studies:
