Apple likely to pay a lot to use rail clock
Switzerland’s national rail operator, SBB, says it has resolved a dispute with computer giant Apple over the use of the group’s famous clock design. The quarrel began when Apple launched its new operating system, iOS 6 for iPads and iPhones. SBB says that under the deal, Apple will be allowed to use the iconic station clock under a licence agreement. To hear more about the deal, WRS’s Catherine Allen met up with Ian Ellery, WRS’s Gadget Guru. She began by asking him to recap how the dispute came about:
