Muslim protest against U.S. film to go ahead in Bern
Muslims groups got permission to protest in Bern this Saturday. The Muslim world erupted in protest (some deadly) after an amateur film produced in the U.S. disparaged the prophet Muhammad. Authorities allowed the protest but away from the Federal Palace and U.S. Embassy in Bern. WRS’s Alex Helmick talks to Qaasim Illi, spokesman for one of the organizers, the Central Islamic Council of Switzerland:
