Swiss aviation authorities have lifted safety measures put in place after the eruption of the Icelandic volcano which caused disruption to thousands of air passengers.
Scientists say the eruptions have stopped in recent days.
Geneva-based International Air Transport Association is reporting passengers numbers dropped almost 2.5 percent last month because of the ash cloud.
Over 100,000 flights were canceled and a million passengers were left stranded because of the danger posed to aircraft from the ash.
