Haiti's children have heaps of troubles
The earthquake in Haiti last year separated over a thousand children from their parents. Most have since been reunited with family members, but the troubles aren’t over for Haiti’s kids. Young boys can be found scavenging through burning mountains of trash; girls are frequently victims of rape in the tent cities. Many aid agencies are still on the ground helping—for now. But as crisis funds dry up, the international community’s commitment to Haiti’s children will be put to the test. WRS’s Jordan Davis reports from Grand-Goâve:
