Subdued, sublime Spektor concert after tragedy Thursday, 8 July, 2010Sad news out of Montreux this week as Regina Spektor’s bassist and cellist Daniel Cho drowned in Lake Geneva on Tuesday, the day before the band was set to play at the Montreux Jazz Festival. Spektor and her band played on in a moving tribute to Cho, with an empty chair spotlit in his honor. WRS’s Laura Leishman was there:
