Economic numbers out for June weren’t quite as rosy those predictions might have suggested: Retail sales slumped. Hotels were emptier than usual. Swiss host cities look ahead following Euro 2008 success Tuesday, 1 July, 2008Spain being crowned as European Champions on Sunday night marked the end of the Euro 2008 football tournament, jointly hosted by Switzerland and Austria. A red and green wave sweeps Neuchâtel Monday, 9 June, 2008Portuguese fans have certainly been making their presence felt during these Euro 2008 games. In some cities, the national flag hangs from virtually every apartment building. On Saturday the team beat Turkey 2-0 in Geneva.
