Exhibition sheds light on the “glory days” of Swiss football
After becoming the first team to be knocked out of the Euro 2008 football championships, it would be fair to say that Switzerland’s performance won’t be going down in the history books as one of the country’s greatest hours. But go back to 1924 and it’s a completely different story – as WRS’s Helen Murray found out when Claudio Miozarri took her on a tour of a special football exhibition at the Swiss Sports Museum in Basel.
