Pop rock kiwis The Bats still growing
Mark Coles, host of The Shed talks to WRS’s Alex Helmick ahead of his Jan. 21 appearance at the Altitude Festival in Klosters, to explain his philosophy of world music—no indigenous beats or obscure experimental sounds, just the best tracks, rock’n’roll included, from around the world. Today he introduces The Bats from New Zealand, with a track called Simpletons from their album “Free All the Monsters” on Flying Nun Records:
