If cars aren’t your thing, some of Switzerland’s finest watches are gathered together at Baselworld. Local bands are inviting you to their jam spaces in Zurich. Morges is still celebrating Audrey Hepburn. Or you can ski by the full moonlight in Villars. Last chance to see Swiss premiere run of Martinu's Juliette this weekend Friday, 2 March, 2012Richard Cole reviews Bohuslav Martinu’s opera Juliette, ou La Clé des Songes, which had its Swiss première last Friday at the Grand Théâtre of Geneva. Rarely given since its first performance in Prague in 1938, this work blends reality and fiction, romance and comedy in an outstanding production inspired by the surrealist artists of the 1930s, and stars the world-class Australian tenor Steve Davislim in his Geneva debut.

Arts CH: Famous photo booth art throughout the century Tuesday, 28 February, 2012The Lausanne photography museum, Musée d’Elysée, has compiled a collection of works executed by the ever forgotten photo booth. Surprisingly a significant number of artists, including American icons Andy Warhol and Cindy Sherman, have used these commonplace machines to express themselves for more than 90 years. Drumming to the beat of Basel Fasnacht Monday, 27 February, 2012The city of Basel is buzzing and alive this morning with the sounds of its celebrated Fasnacht. The carnival lasts for three days and nights: it started at 4 a.m., and won’t be wrapping up until 4 a.m. on Thursday morning. It’s 72 hours which throw the city into colourful chaos—and it’s 72 hours of drumming. And you become stuck—not sent home, not allowed in—and in some cases for two or three years, waiting on a decision. In a powerful new exhibition at the Focale Gallery in Nyon, photographer Malika Gaudin Delrieu shows life for those stuck in refugee centers in Europe. She joins WRS’s Alex Helmick:
