Yearning to experience a change of seasons, Los Angeles native Jordan Davis went to the Big Apple for his undergrad studies in journalism and French civilization. Then it was on to Paris for a master’s in French cultural studies.

At one point he seriously considered a career in jazz education but ultimately journalism would win out and his musical passions would be channeled into an eclectic iPod playlist. He’s worked as a freelance reporter and editor for several U.S. public radio shows, the CBC and BBC World Service.

He spent six months in Dakar, Senegal producing TV and radio stories before returning to the States to work for an NPR station in LA. He’s excited to be back in Europe, where he can put his French language skills to use.
