Hailing from the furthest outskirts of North West London, Jo Fahy is the latest addition to WRS’s multimedia team. Working across the website and occasionally dabbling in presenting, she’s also got her ear to the ground at the WRS base in Zurich. Jo came to WRS after studying the fine art of TV, radio and online journalism, stopping off to do news, websites and production everywhere from the BBC to commercial and community TV and radio stations. From presenting a hardcore metal show to getting toast for Pierce Brosnan, she’s now delving into lengthy mountain walks and finding the best lakeside spots Zurich has to offer.

What’s the best advice you’ve been given?
Nothing worth having comes easy. Look both ways before you cross the road, has also come in particularly useful since moving from the UK.

What is your favourite Swiss city?
Zurich, of course! One minute you’re sitting by the lake watching yachts sail past, the next you’re wandering through cobbled streets checking out tiny designer shops.

What makes you tick?
Doing something different, going somewhere new or just having a good laugh with friends.
