Before founding management consultancy firm AdValorem Partners, François E. Clerc was a Senior Partner at the world’s largest privately owned executive search firm. Based in Geneva, he worked at local, national and European level for a wide range of clients ranging from Swiss privately owned companies to Fortune 500 multinationals. Over the years, François has executed more than 300 searches in various sectors ranging from technology and media, telecommunications, luxury goods, industry, aviation, as well as financial services and NGOs. François has recruited numerous country managers and other senior executives in operations, IT, finance, HR, sales and marketing as well as communication, intellectual property, legal, tax and risk management.

François began his career in International Management Training & Development before moving to Sales and Marketing. François worked in Switzerland and in Europe for HP, DEC and Compaq as well as KPMG. In the early nineties, he was the Managing Director of a Swiss listed company distributing luxury goods in the Asia Pacific region, based in Hong Kong.

François holds a M. Sc. and a Post-Graduate diploma in Psychology from the University of Geneva, and speaks French and English as well as German.
