What the heck is DAB+?

It’s not as complicated as it sounds. DAB is an acronym for Digital Audio Broadcasting—a broadcasting system that brings radio into the digital age. DAB provides distortion-free reception and a far superior sound than FM radio, near CD-quality. It allows for lots of new features not available with FM as well. For example, you can pause your program and restart where you left off, record to a memory card for later playback and even flag a program to be recorded in advance—it’s like TiVo for your radio.

And thanks to DAB+, you can now listen to World Radio Switzerland nationwide, without ever losing the signal. Find out more.
