The pro-Palestinian student occupation of buildings of the University of Geneva continues.
Despite the university issuing a statement that says they will be transparent on links with international institutions and expressing solidarity with the academic community of Gaza.
The protestors considered it too vague and the language lukewarm.
They also balked at the threat from the university that it would withdraw the statement if the protestors didn’t leave and hinted that they may be forcefully evicted.
That was enough to convince the students to hold their ground.
